· Site Elevation & Layout: Utilization of laser levels and equipment to shoot exact pad elevations and install batter boards, establishing the baseline for the structure.
· Form Setting: Construction and installation of perimeter wooden forms to plans, ensuring square corners and level grade lines.

· Beam Excavation: Mechanical and manual excavation of interior and exterior grade beams to plan depths and widths.
· Plumbing Coordination: On-site coordination with client’s plumbing subcontractor to facilitate pipe rough-in without disturbing structural earthwork. (Note: Soberano does not perform plumbing installation).

· Complex Form Installation: Assembly and installation of specialized internal formwork for dropped brick ledges, garage steps, porch depressions, or sunken living areas.
· Elevation Verification: Re-checking critical heights of step-downs relative to the main slab to ensure precise framing transitions and plan compliance.

· Vapor Barrier Installation: Placement and taping of polyethylene moisture retarders (vapor barriers).
· Steel Reinforcement (Make-Up): Cutting, laying, and tying of post-tension cables or rebar grids according to engineering plans, including setting of chairs.

· Mix Verification: Coordination with plant to verify concrete mix (PSI/additives etc) matches requirements for the specific weather conditions (e.g. accelerators for cold).
· Placement Scheduling: Precise scheduling of concrete truck intervals to match the pump capacity and crew.
· On-Site Truck Management: Directing mixer/pump traffic on site to ensure safe ingress/egress and proper washout procedures in designated environmental zones.

· Material Placement: Coordination and management of concrete pumps and trucks, placing, and pouring ready-mix concrete ensuring continuous pour flow to prevent cold joints.
· Screeding & Floating: screeding to level the wet concrete, followed by bull-floating to depress aggregate and raise cream for a smooth surface.
· Final Finishing: Troweling and edge-finishing to achieve the specified surface texture (smooth trowel or light broom finish).

· Material Procurement: Calculation and sourcing of lumber and ply-form specifically rated for concrete containment pressures, ensuring minimal deflection during the pour.
· Sustainable Reclamation: Post-pour implementation of a material recovery plan where viable formwork is cleaned, de-nailed, and stacked for reuse on future phases, or separated for recycling or disposal, minimizing job site waste costs.

· Engineering Takeoff: Detailed analysis of structural plans to generate exact quantity takeoffs for post-tension cables, rebar, corner bars, chairs, and polyethylene.
· Just-in-Time Delivery: Coordination of seamless material delivery for excavation preventing theft, site clutter, or damage to materials from prolonged exposure to mud and weather.

· Form Wrecking: Systematic stripping and removal of all perimeter wooden forms and stakes once concrete achieves initial set.
Site Remediation: Routine "broom clean" removal of splatter and construction debris from the job site and adjacent areas.
